Roxen User Conference

15 days remain until the Roxen User Conference. This Newsletter is dedicated to that event.

With the success of the 2005 conference in mind we're returning to The National Museum of Science and Technology as the conference arena. The date is set to September 18-19 in Stockholm. If you haven't signed up there still is time. Check out the conference schedule at the very end of this newsletter.

Note: The conference hotel is fully booked. We are still happy to assist you in finding a room at an alternative hotel. Contact Mirja Petterson at +46 13 376800 or mirja@roxen.com.

The conference will span over a variety of topics and highlight several new features. Roxen CMS is steaming on towards 5.0 and will introduce a number of exciting improvements. Users looking at Roxen Editorial Portal will also have their share of new features, tips and tricks.

Meet other Roxen CMS and Roxen Editorial Portal users, talk to the Roxen developers, participate in specialized user sessions and learn how other users work with Roxen software .

Five Outstanding Achievements

Apart from presentations and user sessions led by Roxen Internet Software, the Roxen User Conference will host five outstanding achievements working with Roxen CMS and Roxen Editorial Portal. We are proud to present:

  • Metro International - Metro was the first company to deploy Roxen Editorial Portal in to a production environment. Today Metro produces more than 20 newspapers troughout the world in Roxen Editorial Portal.
  • Webfactory is a long time partner to Roxen Internet Software. The range of projects and experience makes them one of the top choices in the world working with Roxen CMS.
  • Princeton University has increased the number of sites for which the IT organization provides operational support from a few to almost 200. This presentation will discuss some of the foundations of why they have been so successful and the challenges they still are meeting to provide service approaching the mythical "always up".
  • Shaw Newspapers has been around more than 150 years. Today they run 45 publications. They are still early in deploying, but are already using Editorial Portal for a few newspapers.
  • Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN) provides a digital platform called HAN-DPF (HAN Digital Portfolio) since 2003 to at least 25.000 students and 2000 tutors. HAN-DPF is used to edit and show their personal portfolio's in a intranet environment.
